Dry Pit Commercial Pumps
Dry well wastewater pumps:
- are designed to be installed in a dry area adjacent to and taking its suction from a wet well.
- can be installed as a booster pump in a sewage force main.
- typical installations have a submersible pump in the wet well with dry well pumps installed at intervals in the force main.
- with NEMA or submersible motors are either vertical or horizontal design.
- have explosion-proof motors available on all models.
- use a Weil double seal submersible motor.
- are available in the lower ranges of head and capacity conditions. This style of pump is used in locations where flooding of a dry well may occur.
